Threat to Ashville School

Event:  Terrorist Threat via social media

Location: (Possible) Ashville School

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officers were made aware of a chat room with a threatening message inside.

 School Resource Officers contained the area out of an abundance of caution. The St. Clair County Criminal Investigation Division along with the St. Clair County Board of Education technology team immediately began an investigation into these threats and the origins.

Everyone is safe at this time.
