St. Clair County High School Threat

Event: Possible threat of violence at St. Clair County High School

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officers and the St. Clair County Board of Education were made aware of rumors of threats being made about a possible firearm being brought to the St. Clair County High School.

An immediate investigation began overnight, and no credible evidence has been found and there is no danger to anyone at this time.

The Sheriff's Office initiated a heavier presence at the school this morning to ensure the utmost safety until the investigation concluded.

Thank you for your cooperation. The school has resumed normal activity.
