St. Clair County DEU Arrests

Event: St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit Arrests

 

This week the St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted a narcotics detail that resulted in the arrest of eight individuals for drug crimes that included trafficking of drugs (methamphetamine), unlawful distribution of a controlled substances

(methamphetamine), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The DEU was assisted by Argo PD, Odenville PD, Margaret PD, Pell City PD, Ragland PD, and St. Clair County Sheriff's Patrol Division working in partnership with all municipalities throughout St. Clair County to wage war on these dangerous drugs and keep them out of our communities.

The following were booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville.

James Sumrall- 42 yo, w/m of Odenville-

Charged with drug trafficking (three counts) and promoting prison contraband, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance

Bond 4,503,500.00

Crystal Deloach- 37 yo, w/f of Ragland

Charged with drug trafficking

No bond

Kevin Oden - 49 yo, b/m of Pell City -

Charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.   

Bond 5,000.00

Blake Brown- 38 yo, w/m of Pell City

Charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance

Bond 30,000.00

Kristy Pearman-52 yo, w/f of Argo-

Charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (two counts)

Bond 20,000.00

Jessie Macon- 54 yo, w/m of Ragland-

Charged with conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime

Bond 30,000.00

Darrell Cain- 49 yo, w/m of Ragland-

Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, harassment

Bond 3,000.00

Jennifer Ledbetter- 32 yo, w/f of Ashville.                                         

Charged with unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd

Bond 1000.00
