Event: Search for suspect

Suspect: Maxwell St. John, 30 YO, W/M of Pell City

Maxwell St. John was reporting to community corrections at the Pell City Courthouse when he fled the scene upon realizing he had a felony failure to appear warrant for Rape and Sodomy 1st. Maxwell was unarmed and fled on foot. St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, Pell City PD, St. Clair Correctional Dog Team, and Pardons and Paroles began an immediate search for the subject that included St. Clair County Air Support. The search has not yielded results thus far. Although Maxwell was not armed at the time he should be considered dangerous. Please notify the Sheriff's Office if you or anyone you know may have information about his whereabouts.
