Retirement Celebration for James Sargent

James and Sheriff Murray - October 30, 2020 Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your service James.

James began his career as a firefighter in Palmerdale Fire District in 1995. He worked as a firefighter and paramedic with Pell City Fire Department, Palmerdale Fire District and Moody Fire Department for ten years. James was multi-faceted and was a part time dispatcher for the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office. As a reserve for PC PD he went through Jefferson County Law Enforcement Academy in 2004 and was hired full time with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in 2005 where he was a member of SWAT and eventually moved into Investigations. James retired with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office with fifteen years of service.
