PIO ATTENDS FBI LEEDA MPR CLASS

Last week our PIO Juana Corbin had the opportunity to attend the FBI LEEDA Media and Public Relations Course in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

The weeklong course hosted by the Denham Springs Police Department outlined the best practices for media relations, crisis communication, and social media.

Students in the class came from Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana.

Valuable communication skills were gained, and new tools implemented to improve information sharing within the communities we serve.
