The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office was attempting to serve a set out order on a subject at 130 Cedar Branch Circle in Odenville around 9:00 am this morning.

When deputies encountered the subject, he produced a knife threatening deputies. The subject has barricaded himself inside the residence at 130 Cedar Branch Circle.

The Sheriff's Office is being assisted by the Pell City Police Department, Oxford Police Department, Odenville Police Department, and FBI Gadsden.

The situation is active and ongoing at this time.
