Operation Safe Streets

       The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit conducted drug investigations during the months of November and December of 2024 that resulted in Drug Enforcement executing nine (9) narcotics search warrants during the month of December of 2024 in multiple cities throughout St. Clair County. Drug Enforcement and assisting law enforcement officers from partnering municipal agencies across St. Clair County, along with the St. Clair Sheriff's SWAT team and the Pell City Police Department SWAT team teams made 22 arrests on persons for various felony and misdemeanor drug crimes, as well as for reckless murder, felony thefts and sex offender notification crimes.

       Drug Enforcement was assisted by the Pell City Police Department SWAT team, Pell City Police Department patrol, the Ashville Police Department, the Ragland Police Department, the Moody Police Department, the Odenville Police Department, the St. Clair County SWAT team, St. Clair County Sheriff's patrol, St. Clair County Jail/corrections staff, the Coosa County Sheriff's Office, the Goodwater Police Department, the Trussville Police Department K-9 Unit, Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Parol's, the FBI and the ATF.
