JAG GRANT AWARDED

 Award of $ 16,202.00 through JAG funding

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office applied for and was awarded funding though the 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to purchase Level IIIA Ballistic Shields.

With violent crime happening in schools and communities across the nation having the tools to adequately serve and protect our own is a high priority. The Sheriff's Office received the shields this week and they will be placed in the tactical vehicle making them immediately available in the field where the need arises.
