Homicide Investigation on Old Acton Rd. in Moody

Event: Homicide Investigation

Location: 7365 Old Acton Rd. in Moody

Victim: Ralph Earl Phillips, a 58 y/o, w/m of Moody

At approximately 2:37 this morning the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, along with Margaret Police Department received a call of a possible shooting at 7365 Old Acton Rd. in Moody.

After arriving on scene, the body of 58 y/o Ralph E. Phillips was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound. The scene was secured and turned over to the St. Clair County Criminal Investigation Division. After further investigation, 21 y/o Myles Hope Phillips of Moody was arrested for murder and is in the St. Clair County Jail with no bond.

The investigation is ongoing and continuing at this time.
