Fugitive from Justice arrest

 Event: Fugitive from justice arrest

 Place:  County Rd. 12, US Hwy 11 and I-59

 Suspect: Jack Leon Kilpatrick, 39 YO, WM from Coldwater, MS

          St. Clair County Sheriff's Office received information that Jack Kilpatrick a fugitive escapee from Shelby County, TN could be in the Margaret area. The suspect was seen by witnesses at the Marathon gas station in Margaret in a stolen vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop in which the suspect fled. After a short pursuit the suspect stopped and was arrested without incident. The suspect was known as a felon with a gun and had a history of aggravated assault and escape from a penal facility.
