Drug Trafficking Arrests Made in Ashville

Event: Drug Trafficking Arrests made on Darnell Drive in Ashville

Suspects: Arden D. Barnard, 61 yo w/m of Ashville

Donna B. Jones, 55 yo, w/f of Ashville

Alexander D. Looney, 28 yo, b/m of Ashville

 

The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit in partnership with the FBI's North Alabama Criminal Enterprise Task Force made three arrests connected to methamphetamine trafficking investigation in the Ashville area of St. Clair County. The DEU and the St. Clair County SWAT Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 50 Darnell Drive in Ashville where arrests were made on Arden D. Barnard, Donna B. Jones, and Alexander D. Looney.

Barnard was charged with 2 counts of trafficking methamphetamine, 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and 1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia and has a bond 3,020,500.00.

Jones was charged with 2 counts of trafficking methamphetamine, 2 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 1 count distribution of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and has a bond of 3,050,500.00.

Looney was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia and has a bond of 10,500.00

All are being held at the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville.
