Suspects: Tyler E. Rhodes 21 y/o, w/m

Chasity Rhodes 38 y/o, w/f

 

The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) made two drug crime related arrest this morning after serving a narcotics search warrant. The DEU was assisted by St. Clair County Sheriff's Patrol and the Pell City Police Department.

The DEU recovered approximately two pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, one loaded handgun, one loaded assault rifle and an amount of US currency. Tyler E. Rhodes was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, one count of felony possession of marijuana and one count of certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm. He is in the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City with a 73,000.00 bond.  Chasity Rhodes was charged with one count of felony possession of marijuana. She is in the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City with a 10,000.00 bond.

The Sheriff's Office is working diligently to keep marijuana and the gourmet drug laced "gummies" out of our children's hands. Children can be fooled easily by others into trying something that looks harmless but can have dangerous consequences.
