Drug arrest

St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit recently conducted an investigation which lead to the arrest of suspects who had been attempting to get narcotics to inmates at the County Jail in Ashville.

David Trammel, 37 yo, w/m of Ragland and Austin Lewis, 25 yo, w/m of Ashville were arrested.  

Trammel was charged with conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime, 2 counts of UPCS, UPOM 2nd and UPDP.

Lewis was charged with 1 count of UPCS and conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime.
