Drowning in Cropwell

Location: Franklin Rd in Cropwell

Victim: Nathaniel Allen, 61 year old b/m from Birmingham

 

 

 

 

 

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call of a possible drowning at a residence on Franklin Rd in Cropwell. The victim jumped off a pier and did not surface.

Deputy Jones and the homeowner entered the water and attempted to locate the victim with no result.

Southeastern Association of Recovery and Investigative Divers were called and the body of Nathaniel Allen was located at approximately 1:15 in about 12 feet of water. Thank you, Southeastern Association of Recovery and Investigative Divers, Pell City Police Department, Pell City Fire Department, and New London Fire Department for the assistance today.
