Drone Technology

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office recently acquired a new cutting-edge UVT drone.

This technology is an important tool that the Sheriff's Office can deploy in certain circumstances to reduce the danger to civilians, enhance officer safety, and gather important information.  

The Sheriff's Office drone pilots have obtained Federal Aviation Administration licenses and are currently undergoing comprehensive training on the new drones.
