Congratulations to Jeannie Canas for 26 years of service

We would like to congratulate Jeannie Canas for reaching the milestone of 26 full time years employed with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office and promotion to Chief Clerk. Jeannie began her career at the Sheriff's Office in central dispatch and after four years as a dispatcher she moved into a clerk's position within the Sheriff's Office.

For many years she worked as a front desk clerk, entered warrants, civil processing, records keeper, coordinating administrative training and bookkeeper. The hats she wore became many and recently Jeannie was given the well deserved title of Chief Clerk.
