Arrest made in shooting on Blount 24 in Oneonta

Event: Shooting investigation -arrest made

Location: Blount Hwy 24 Oneonta. (St. Clair County)

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office CID has made an arrest in the shooting that occurred on Blount Hwy 24. in Oneonta yesterday.

Timothy B. Battles a 29 y/o, w/m of Gulf Rd in Oneonta was arrested for discharging a gun into an occupied building, assault 2nd, and attempted murder with the assistance of the St. Clair County SWAT.

He is currently in the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville.

Total bond 125,000.00
